A million-dollar prize is still unclaimed six months after its numbers were drawn in the Iowa Lottery's Mega Millions. The $1 million ticket for the Sept. 6 drawing was purchased at The Filling Station/Gateway Expresse, 2400 University Boulevard, in Ames. The convenience store received a $1,000 bonus from the Iowa Lottery for selling the ticket. It was the only ticket in the country Sept. 6 to match the five white balls, making it a $1 million winner. But it missed the yellow Mega Ball to win at the game's second prize level, which would have been a $191 million jackpot.
